Discover Nature
Kye Bay
Kye Bay offers beautiful sandy beaches and many shallow tidal pools perfect for the kids. If you plan it just right when the tide is coming in the water is in credibly warm as it passes over the hot sand.
Kye Bay is the perfect place to pack a picnic, bring the kids and the dog, and spend the day at the beach.
Comox Wharf
Located on the East Coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, the Comox Harbour has provided shelter for ships since the late 1800s. Today, it is home to a large commercial fishing fleet and numerous pleasure craft. Nestled beneath the Beaufort Mountains and Comox Glacier, the Comox Harbour has spectacular views.

Goose Spit National Park
Goose Spit Park, or Pelxqikw, is a picturesque sand spit on Vancouver Island with stunning views and rich history. Once a key site for local First Nations, it now offers a haven for migratory birds and rare plants. Visit from March to May to see Brant geese and enjoy this tranquil natural gem.
Nymph Falls
Nymph Falls Nature Park, a 61-hectare forest on the Puntledge River, offers stunning waterfalls, clear glacial waters and trails and picnic areas. Enjoy whitewater in spring and refreshing swims in summer, and see the impressive Nymph Falls with fish ladders supporting spawning salmon.
Cumberland Village
Founded in 1888 by Scottish businessman Robert Dunsmuir, Cumberland (originally known as Union) was one of BC's busiest mining communities until 1966. A “Village in the Forest,” Cumberland is renowned for its history as it is for its mountain biking culture, abundant recreational trails, craft beer and eclectic artisan shops.
Cathedral Grove
Cathedral Grove in MacMillan Provincial Park is a breathtaking old-growth forest on Vancouver Island. Explore trails beneath towering 800-year-old trees and marvel at the 80-meter-high canopy, experiencing the pristine beauty of the west coast before European settlement.
Storey's Beach
Storey’s Beach offers miles of sand, perfect for sand walks & sand castles, to inter-tidal treasure hunting! A beautiful sandy beach that goes on forever when the tide is out. A popular picnic area, there is a Rotary pavilion, picnic tables, barbecue pits and grassy fields for having fun in the sun.
Mystic Beach
Mystic Beach is one of the area's most scenic beaches, located along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It features a small waterfall that cascades from the sheer cliff above the beach area along with incredible views of the rugged, Pacific Northwest coastline.
Lazo Marsh
On the outskirts of Comox, this 186-hectare park and conservation area includes a fresh water marsh, mixed woods and a large meadow. Entering the Northeast Woods from Torrence Rd. visitors will find numerous trails including a newly-signed 4 km circuit through the forest.

Wayward Distillery

Jam Cafe
Jam is an all-day breakfast and lunch cafe located in Victoria and Vancouver.The original Jam opened on Herald St. in Victoria in the spring of 2012 and was immediately embraced by the City and it’s dining community. The menu includes a collection of family home style recipes with options that can satisfy the most discerning of appetites.
